Where can I change my email address?
You can easily change your details in the Self Service Centre in your account. You can reach it via this link. If you can't figure it out, you can always sent our customer service team a message.
Why should I choose Boombrush?
Your oral health is important to you and therefore also to us. Personal issues such as the hygiene of your mouth require a personal approach. With Boombrush you have both good service and a strong product. Boombrush has been developed by a team of experts to ensure that we deliver nothing less than perfect quality.
What is the difference between sonic and electric brushing?
The brush is a sonic toothbrush. Sonic toothbrushes vibrate between 30,000 and 40,000 times per minute! This allows a sonic toothbrush to brush in places where a normal or regular electric toothbrush cannot. The high vibrations ensure that toothpaste, saliva and water can get between the teeth and under the gums.

Is the Boombrush waterproof?
Of course! The brush is IPX7 certified and therefore waterproof. This means that it can be 1 meter under water for up to 30 minutes without breaking down. So you can also use it in the shower.
What makes the Boombrush unique?
The Boombrush is a good industrial design and has an unprecedented battery life of no less than 90 days, which makes it ideal for taking on a trip. The brush remembers your personal vibration preferences and you can take out a tailor-made Repeat subscription to receive fresh brush heads. In combination with this subscription you have a lifetime warranty, which is why you only purchase a Boombrush once. In addition, all brush heads are also recycled.

How can I select the different brushing modes?
By briefly pressing the button with which you turn on the brush, you can change the brushing mode. When the timer has expired, the Boombrush remembers your last selected setting. Then you can brush in your favorite right away!
How can I take my Boombrush somewhere tidy?
You can take your Boombrush neatly on a trip with our handy travel case! This case is made of vegan leather and is water-repellent. The travel case contains space for 1 Boombrush and has a handy pocket for the brush head. It also fits your charging cord, should you travel for more than 90 days.
How do I know when to charge the Boombrush?
When the BOOMBRUSH is almost empty, the light on the brush will turn red. That's how you know it's time to charge it! You can still use it for a while.
How does the 60-day free trial work?
Most people take some time to get used to sonic brushing. That's why you can try the toothbrush for free for 60 days. If you return the toothbrush to us within this period, we will stop your Repeat and you will simply get your money back.
I lost my charging cord, what now?
Do not panic! It is simply possible to order a new one through the store. We do have to charge shipping costs for a separate order. You will receive the new cable by post within 3 to 4 working days.
Is the Boombrush also suitable for children?

Zijn de Boombrush Boost en Wave geschikt bij gevoelig tandvlees of beugels?

De Boost en Wave hebben heeft meerdere poetsstanden, waaronder een zachte stand speciaal ontwikkeld voor gevoelig tandvlees en tanden. De unieke BASS-techniek van de Wave doet er zelfs een schepje bovenop. Deze elektrische tandenborstel is vriendelijk en effectief bij beugels of gevoelige plekken. Zo krijg je een grondige, maar toch comfortabele poetsbeurt, afgestemd op jouw gebit.
Can I use Boombrush in the shower?
You can! The brush is IPX7 waterproof. This means that it has been approved and can be submerged for up to 1 meter for a maximum of 30 minutes without breaking down. So you can take it with you in the shower.
Can I use the Boombrush right away when it arrives?
Of course! You can use the Boombrush immediately when you receive it. The brush is about 70% charged on arrival and therefore there is a good chance that it will not last 90 days the first time.
My Boombrush is faulty, now what?
You can send your defective Boombrush to us for recycling. You can then contact our customer service team. You can do this simply via Whatsapp! We will then make sure you receive another brush from us as soon as possible!
Why don't you sell bamboo brush heads?
This is a very conscious choice! Bamboo is less hygienic as it can retain moisture and therefore bacteria. In addition, such bamboo cups often still contain a part of plastic. Our choice is therefore to continue to use the current cups made of plastic and to give our customers the opportunity to return the used cups to us so that we can recycle them and thus jointly reduce our plastic waste!
Why is there no charging block with my charging cord?
The Boombrush only needs to be charged once every 3 months. With the included charging cable you can plug it into any USB port. This way you can charge it on your laptop, for example, or your phone charger itself. In addition, constant charging via, for example, a charging block is not good for the (life) life of the battery.
What kind of charger can I use?
We do not recommend using fast-charge adapters. These damage the battery and thus the life of the toothbrush. Only use certified adapters with a maximum output of 5V. If you don't have anything else at home, be creative and use another USB port, for example your laptop. ;)
Which version of the brush head do I receive with the brush?
At the brush you will receive our regular version. You can recognize this by the rubber coating on the back and the wave in the bristles. The soft version does not have this either.
Repeat 24 weeks
What is the new 24-week Repeat model and why are you switching to it?
With this new model, you will receive enough products for 24 weeks twice a year. This makes your Repeat easier, more sustainable and more efficient. Fewer delivery moments mean less chance of lost parcels and less packaging waste and transport. Despite increasing shipping costs, your subscription remains the same in price.
When will I receive my new brush heads?
You will receive your new delivery 24 weeks after your last shipment. Have you recently received another delivery? Then you will immediately receive enough for 6 months with your next shipment. As usual, we will keep you informed about your next delivery via e-mail.
I'm afraid I'll forget to change now.
No worries! We will send you a timely e-mail reminder when it is time to use a new brush head. That way, you can keep your mouth healthy and fresh without having to think about it.

What happens to billing in the new model?
Billing is largely as you are used to. The difference is that you now pay twice a year, for a period of 24 weeks. So your total amount is higher because you receive more products at once, but then you are immediately provided for six months.
Do I need to do anything to activate the change?
No, we'll take care of that for you! You use up your current stock first, and then we automatically switch you to the 24-week Repeat model. So you don't have to do anything yourself.
How can I expand my Repeat?
How nice that you want to customise your Repeat! In your account, you can add additional products, change the hardness of your brush heads or extend your subscription. Not sure what to do? Our customer service will be happy to help you.
How often should I replace my brush head?
Our experts recommend replacing your brush head every 2-3 months. With regular use, the bristles wear out, making them less effective at cleaning. In addition, over time, the amount of bacteria on the brush head increases significantly. So timely replacement is important for good oral hygiene. Fortunately, we arrange this automatically for you via your Repeat subscription, so you are always well protected.

I have not received my package, it is lost or incomplete. What now?
Annoying! Contact our customer service team and we will make sure you still receive the right package.
Can I still change my Repeat?
Sure! You can change your Repeat subscription via your account. Just make sure you make changes at least 24 hours before your next scheduled Repeat. After that, we will unfortunately not be able to change the order as it will already be in process. Unable to make it? Feel free to send us a message, we will be happy to help you.
Can I track my Repeat?
Sure! You can track your order via the PostNL app. As Repeat orders are sent by letterbox post, you won't receive a track-and-trace code. But via the app, you can see exactly when your delivery is expected.
Can I still go back to my old Repeat?
We recommend the new 24-week Repeat model, but if you prefer to keep receiving every 4 or 8 weeks, you can indicate this via your account or customer service. This is possible at an adjusted rate, due to higher shipping costs with more frequent deliveries. By switching to the 24-week model, together we also contribute to the environment: fewer transport movements and less packaging material ensure a smaller ecological footprint.
When will I get my Repeat?
Our Repeat process works as follows: 1. You will receive a reminder from us about your order. 2. On Wednesday, we activate your Repeat order. 3. Your parcel is packed on Thursday, Friday and Monday. 4. On Tuesday or Wednesday we give it to the postman. 5. Delivery usually takes place on Thursday, Friday or Saturday at the latest. Still haven't received anything? Let us know, we will be happy to sort it out for you!
When will my Repeat be debited?
Once you receive an email from us that your payment is being processed, the following turnaround times apply: - iDEAL: Processed immediately, we get started right away. - Credit card & PayPal: As soon as the payment is approved, we start processing your order immediately. - SEPA direct debit: The direct debit usually takes 1-2 working days. We start processing as soon as we receive the direct debit order. - Sofort SEPA: The direct debit takes place within 5 working days. Here, too, we start processing your order in advance.
What if I receive too many brush heads?
No worries! If you have a spare brush head, you can easily pause or postpone your delivery via your account. We do recommend timely replacement, not only because of wear and tear of the bristles, but also because the number of bacteria on a used cup increases significantly. By changing on time, you can be assured of a fresh, healthy mouth.
What is Repeat and how does it work?
Repeat is our handy subscription that allows you to automatically receive your favourite products every 24 weeks. You will then receive 3 brush heads at home, enough for fresh oral care for six months. We make sure your new delivery reaches you in plenty of time so you don't have to keep thinking about it. Extra advantage: with Repeat, you benefit from a lifetime guarantee on your Boombrush.
Delivery and returns
What is the delivery time of the brush?
If you order before 21:00, the order will be shipped the same day. We ship from the Netherlands and the delivery time to Germany is approximately 3-4 working days.
How can I track my order?
If you buy a brush, you will receive a confirmation email from us, which also contains a link to a Track & Trace code. With this code you can easily follow it. Other orders are sent by post. You can track this via the PostNL app. Then you know when it's almost there.
How long can I try out the Boombrush?
You can try it for free for 60 days! If it is not what you expected, you can contact our customer service. They will then help you with your return.

How does the 60-day free trial work?
Most people take some time to get used to sonic brushing. That's why you can try the toothbrush for free for 60 days. If you return the toothbrush to us within this period, we will stop your Repeat and you will simply get your money back.
I would like to return my brush. How do I do that?
You can view our return conditions for detailed information about this. If you are sure of your choice, please contact our customer service. There we can help you to register your return. Because we cannot reuse the brush head, we will not refund the purchase amount of €6.
Do I have to pay for the shipping?
If you buy a brush, or individual products such as cables and brush heads, we charge €4.45 standard shipping costs outside the Netherlands and within Europe.
Guarantee
Do I have a warranty on my brush?
With BOOMBRUSH Repeat you have a lifetime warranty on your BOOMBRUSH! If your brush does anything less than perfect at any time, we'll get you a new one! If you don't have a Repeat plan, we still provide a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
My Boombrush is faulty, now what?
You can send your defective Boombrush to us for recycling. You can then contact our customer service team. You can do this simply via Whatsapp! We will then make sure you receive another brush from us as soon as possible!
When is my brush not covered by the warranty?
There are of course also situations in which your brush is not covered by our warranty. Do you want to know if your (possibly) defective brush is covered by the warranty? Then read here
Maintenance
How do I change my brush head?
Time to change your brush head? Make sure you take off your old brush head with a straight motion rather than a twisting motion. If you take the brush head off with a twisting motion, there is a good chance that the pin will get twisted. This can cause the pin to be out of place, reducing the vibration of the brush. Also make sure that while inserting the new brush head, you align the head straight with the button and symbols on the front. If you don't do this, the vibrations will no longer work as they should.
How do I keep my brush clean?
Besides keeping the contact surface clean with the brush head, it is important to dry the knob well after use and remove any residue. Also remember to store the brush in a well-ventilated and not too humid place so that the brush can dry properly and so that no limescale sticks to the brush. When lime builds up around the knob, it loses its function. What can happen next is that you can no longer operate the brush with the on/off button properly. So make sure you keep the button clean.
How often should I clean my brush?
Want to make sure your Boombrush keeps vibrating optimally? Then try cleaning the intermediate piece between the holder and the brush head once every fortnight. Maintaining it properly will prevent toothpaste residue and limescale from accumulating and the brush head from no longer connecting properly to the pin that transmits vibrations to the cup. Do this by properly detaching the cup from the body, then you can use water to remove all the dirt well. Finally, dry everything well and put the cup back on the body.

How often should I charge the brush?
The Boombrush has a long-lasting battery of as much as 90 days. When the battery is low, the light at the bottom of the brush will turn red. Usually, you can then use it for a few more days. The moment the brush gives off the signal that it is almost empty, this serves as a sign that you need to recharge the brush. This may be different from what you were used to with your previous electric or sonic brush. You might have put this one back on the charging station every day. By charging the battery only when it is (almost) completely empty, it retains its quality. Charging it more often than necessary can cause faster breakdowns.
Should I push while brushing?
Do you feel that your teeth get cleaner when you put a lot of force behind the brush? It doesn't! The Boombrush's 40,000 vibrations provide enough force to keep your teeth clean. Provided, of course, you replace your brush head on time. If you brush too long with the same brush head and/or push too hard while brushing, the quality of the head deteriorates faster. So trust the power of brushing and let the Boombrush do the work!
Where do I store my boombrush?
It sounds logical, but dropping happens faster than you think. Put your Boombrush down firmly to avoid the danger of falling. Because you only need to charge the Boombrush 4 times a year, we have omitted a charging station. So make sure you place your brush on a solid surface. Does your sink not have this space? Then consider a stylish bathroom organiser, for example. Just make sure you keep the Boombrush in a well-ventilated space.

The certification process can vary, but for most companies, it takes 6–8 months. For Boombrush, it was a thorough evaluation of our operations and impact, and we spent about 6–8 months on it. Three independent researchers reviewed whether Boombrush meets the standards for B Corp certification.
How often does Boombrush need to renew its B Corp certification?
B Corps must recertify every three years to maintain their status.

Boombrush had to complete a comprehensive B Impact Assessment, in which we were evaluated on five areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. We needed to achieve a minimum score of 80 points and meet strict transparency and accountability requirements. And we did it! With a score of 89.5 🏆

What are you doing about recycling?
At Boombrush, we are committed to creating a better world by reducing waste and responsibly reusing materials. Our brush heads are collected, and the materials are repurposed in collaboration with innovative partners like Plasticiet. Our old electric toothbrushes are recycled in an environmentally friendly way through our partner Wecycle. They can reuse 90% of the materials and convert them into new products. By reusing valuable resources and safely handling harmful substances, we contribute to a circular economy and a cleaner future.
Who is Wecycle?
Wecycle is an organization responsible for collecting and recycling old electrical appliances and energy-efficient lighting in the Netherlands. Wecycle’s goal is to process as much e-waste as possible in an environmentally friendly way, preserving valuable materials and preventing harmful substances from entering the environment. Consumers and businesses can return their old devices for free at more than 13,000 Wecycle drop-off points across the Netherlands.
How can I participate in recycling?
All our products are made from recyclable materials. Our toothpaste tubes and plastic toothbrush caps are 100% recyclable and can be sent back to Boombrush along with used brush heads. The small container of the picks can go with paper recycling, while the picks themselves can go in regular waste. You can add a free recycling bag to your next order via our customer service or your account. You can return this bag for free with your used products for recycling. To be as sustainable as possible, we recommend placing about 8 products in the bag at a time.

Of course you can! You can simply add an extra brush head/paste to your Repeat. You can do this in your Boombrush account. Here you can also adjust the frequency of your Repeat.
What is the difference between the soft and regular brushes?
The biggest difference is of course the hardness of the brushes. The bristles of the soft brushes are slightly softer and therefore more suitable if you have sensitive teeth.

What is the lawsuit between Philips and Boombrush about?
Philips claims that Boombrush is infringing on their design rights due to a registered community design. This case, which has been ongoing for five years, is scheduled for a substantive hearing on February 7, 2025. Boombrush designed its toothbrush independently and aims to provide a unique, sustainable, and innovative alternative. Our focus is on eco-friendly materials, a circular subscription model, and a better brushing routine for everyone. We believe that large companies like Philips often use legal means to limit competition, but we won’t be pushed out of the market. Boombrush continues to fight for a cleaner world and fair competition.
Do I need to worry about the future of Boombrush?
No, absolutely not! The lawsuit is only about the design of the toothbrush handle and has no impact on brush head deliveries or our lifetime warranty. Whatever happens, we remain committed to sustainable oral care. Although we are confident that we will win this case, we naturally have a solid plan for the future. Boombrush is a healthy and strong company and continues to uphold its mission: better brushing with less impact on the environment.

Does this lawsuit affect my order or subscription?
No, your order or subscription remains unchanged. All deliveries continue as planned, and you will receive your brush heads, toothpaste, picks, and accessories as usual. So there’s nothing to worry about!

If the court decides that we need to modify our design, we will find a creative and sustainable solution. We will continue to provide our customers with the best sustainable oral care and will always find a way to carry on our mission. The lifetime warranty remains valid, and subscriptions will continue as usual.
Will Boombrush’s prices change because of this lawsuit?
No, this case has no impact on our pricing. We will continue to maintain fair prices and do everything we can to keep sustainable oral care accessible and affordable.

Does the paste contain microplastics?
the paste does indeed contain no microplastics. The PEG-8 compound used is a water-soluble polymer and is not a plastic. In short: you can just brush plastic-free with the paste!
Is the tube of the paste recyclable?
Of course! You can send these back to us, just like your brush heads. Then our recycling partner will work with it to give it a good new destination.
Why don't you have toothpaste tablets?
We don't have these (yet). Tablets are often chosen from a sustainability point of view. Fortunately, our paste is 100% recyclable, so you can simply brush sustainably with it.

Why can't I order a single tube?
We only offer this in the form of a Repeat subscription. We have deliberately chosen this because it is not sustainable to send a loose tube of toothpaste. That is why we supply these in 4-packs, which saves three times emissions. If you want to try out the paste, you can add it once to your Repeat.
Why is there fluoride in the paste?
Fluoride protects your teeth and makes the enamel stronger. This is because fluoride ensures that the enamel of the teeth can withstand a lower pH value, which means that the enamel can dissolve less quickly. This reduces the risk of spoilage and the development of cavities.
What ingredients are in the fluoride paste?

Is the tube of the paste recyclable?
Of course! You can send these back to us, just like your brush heads. Then our recycling partner will work with it to give it a good new destination.
Why is the fluoride-free paste just as effective as the paste with fluoride?
Our fluoride-free paste contains hydroxyapatite. Hydroxyapatite is a natural mineral that resembles the building blocks of your tooth enamel. In toothpaste, it works like a “mini-dentist”: it fills microscopic holes and damage in your enamel, making your teeth smoother and stronger. It provides a protective layer, reducing the risk of cavities and tooth sensitivity. It’s the perfect natural alternative to fluoride!
What is hydroxyapatite and what does it do?

What is the best way to use the picks?
Use wooden toothpicks carefully and effectively as follows: 1. Slightly moisten the toothpick by chewing on it or holding it under running water. This makes the wood more flexible and prevents splintering. 2. Place the flat side against your gums and gently slide the toothpick between your teeth. 3. Move it softly back and forth to remove plaque and food particles without forcing it. This way, you keep your mouth healthy and avoid damaging your gums!
How often should I use the picks with my teeth?
Dentists recommend using the picks at least once a day. This keeps the spaces between your teeth clean and your gums healthy! Brushing alone often doesn’t reach everywhere, so flossing helps prevent plaque and inflammation. Bleeding while using the picks? Don’t worry—it usually improves with regular use!

The travel case has a magnetic closure so you can close it by lowering the flap. The magnet is strong enough to hold the valve in place.

Is the travel case stain-resistant?
