  • What is the difference between sonic and electric brushing?

    The brush is a sonic toothbrush. Sonic toothbrushes vibrate between 30,000 and 40,000 times per minute! This allows a sonic toothbrush to brush in places where a normal or regular electric toothbrush cannot. The high vibrations ensure that toothpaste, saliva and water can get between the teeth and under the gums.

  • Why should I choose Boombrush?

Boompaste

  • Why is there fluoride in the paste?

    Fluoride protects your teeth and makes the enamel stronger. This is because fluoride ensures that the enamel of the teeth can withstand a lower pH value, which means that the enamel can dissolve less quickly. This reduces the risk of spoilage and the development of cavities.

  • Why can't I order a single tube?

    We only offer this in the form of a Repeat subscription. We have deliberately chosen this because it is not sustainable to send a loose tube of toothpaste. That is why we supply these in 4-packs, which saves three times emissions. If you want to try out the paste, you can add it once to your Repeat.

  • Why don't you have toothpaste tablets?

    We don't have these (yet). Tablets are often chosen from a sustainability point of view. Fortunately, our paste is 100% recyclable, so you can simply brush sustainably with it.

  • Is the paste BPA free?

    Certainly! The PEG-8 compound used is a water-soluble polymer and is not a plastic. That is why the paste does not contain BPA or other microplastics. In short: you can simply brush plastic-free with the paste!

  • Is the tube of the paste recyclable?

    Of course! You can send these back to us, just like your brush heads. Then our recycling partner will work with it to give it a good new destination.

  • Does the paste contain microplastics?

    the paste does indeed contain no microplastics. The PEG-8 compound used is a water-soluble polymer and is not a plastic. In short: you can just brush plastic-free with the paste!

The Boombrush

  • Is the Boombrush waterproof?

    Of course! The brush is IPX7 certified and therefore waterproof. This means that it can be 1 meter under water for up to 30 minutes without breaking down. So you can also use it in the shower.

  • What makes the Boombrush unique?

    The Boombrush is a good industrial design and has an unprecedented battery life of no less than 90 days, which makes it ideal for taking on a trip. The brush remembers your personal vibration preferences and you can take out a tailor-made Repeat subscription to receive fresh brush heads. In combination with this subscription you have a lifetime warranty, which is why you only purchase a Boombrush once. In addition, all brush heads are also recycled.

  • What is the delivery time of the brush?

    If you order before 21:00, the order will be shipped the same day. We ship from the Netherlands and the delivery time to Germany is approximately 3-4 working days.

  • Why should I choose Boombrush?

  • Why is there no charging block with my charging cord?

    The Boombrush only needs to be charged once every 3 months. With the included charging cable you can plug it into any USB port. This way you can charge it on your laptop, for example, or your phone charger itself. In addition, constant charging via, for example, a charging block is not good for the (life) life of the battery.

  • Why don't you sell bamboo brush heads?

    This is a very conscious choice! Bamboo is less hygienic as it can retain moisture and therefore bacteria. In addition, such bamboo cups often still contain a part of plastic. Our choice is therefore to continue to use the current cups made of plastic and to give our customers the opportunity to return the used cups to us so that we can recycle them and thus jointly reduce our plastic waste!

  • My Boombrush is broken, what now?

    Although it is rare, it sometimes happens that the brush breaks. That is of course very annoying. Of course you have to be able to keep brushing with Boombrush, so you need a new one quickly. If you have a defective brush, you can contact our customer service. You can do this via Whatsapp! We will then ensure that you receive a brush from us as soon as possible!

  • Can I use the Boombrush right away when it arrives?

    Of course! You can use the Boombrush immediately when you receive it. The brush is about 70% charged on arrival and therefore there is a good chance that it will not last 90 days the first time.

  • Can I use Boombrush in the shower?

    You can! The brush is IPX7 waterproof. This means that it has been approved and can be submerged for up to 1 meter for a maximum of 30 minutes without breaking down. So you can take it with you in the shower.

  • Is the Boombrush also suitable for children?

    Absolute! Sonic toothbrushes can also be used for baby teeth. Children under the age of 10 may experience the vibrations as intense. That is why we are now also working on a children's brush. Would you like to stay informed of our developments? Then sign up for our newsletter!

  • I lost my charging cord, what now?

    Do not panic! It is simply possible to order a new one through the store. We do have to charge shipping costs for a separate order. You will receive the new cable by post within 3 to 4 working days.

  • How does the 60-day free trial work?

    Most people take some time to get used to sonic brushing. That's why you can try the toothbrush for free for 60 days. If you return the toothbrush to us within this period, we will stop your Repeat and you will simply get your money back.

  • How do I know when to charge the Boombrush?

    When the BOOMBRUSH is almost empty, the light on the brush will turn red. That's how you know it's time to charge it! You can still use it for a while.

  • How can I take my Boombrush somewhere tidy?

    At the moment we are working hard to develop a travel case and we will let you know when it is ready! For now, you could just keep the Boombrush in your toiletry bag. Note: don't forget to remove the brush head from your Boombrush. By moving luggage back and forth, it could break off and that is a shame! You could put these separately in, for example, a plastic bag for hygiene.

  • How can I select the different brushing modes?

    By briefly pressing the button with which you turn on the brush, you can change the brushing mode. When the timer has expired, the Boombrush remembers your last selected setting. Then you can brush in your favorite right away!

Repeat

  • What is Repeat and how does it work?

    With the Repeat we will send you a new brush head every 4, 8 or 12 weeks. This way you always have a fresh brush on time and you can get the most out of your toothbrush. You can adjust, pause or stop your Repeat at any time in your Boombrush account. In addition, with a Repeat plan you have a lifetime warranty on your Boombrush.

  • When can I change my Repeat preferences?

    Whenever you want! Please note that you stop or pause the Repeat option at least 24 hours before the next shipment, otherwise we can no longer cancel the shipment and it will be charged and sent. We will send you an email as a reminder at that time.

  • When will my Repeat be charged?

    Once we have emailed you about processing a payment, the turnaround times are as follows:

    1. Ideal: The payment is received by us immediately, we start working immediately
    2. Paypal: we instruct the bank, after our instruction the payment is directly with us, we start working immediately
    3. Credit card: we give instructions to the bank, after our order the payment is received by us immediately, we start working immediately
    4. SEPA Direct Debit: we give instruction to the bank, they collect the payment within 2 working days, after that it takes about 24 hours before we receive your payment. We do start working as soon as we have given the order.
    5. Sofort Sepa: we give the order to the bank, they collect the payment within 5 working days, after that it takes about 24 hours before we receive your payment. We do start working when we have given the order.

  • Can I choose how often I get my Repeat?

    Which can! Via your Boombrush account you can indicate how often you want to receive a Repeat. This is set to once every three months by default, but you can also change this to once every two months or once a month.

  • How often is it recommended to replace my brush?

    Our experts recommend replacing them every 2 to 3 months. When brush heads are used regularly, the bristles of your brush head or toothbrush can wear down, making them less effective at cleaning your teeth. Clinical studies also show that a new brush head removes more plaque than a used brush head.

  • How can I extend my Repeat?

    How nice that you want to expand the Repeat! You can easily do this in your account on our website. Here you can also adjust the hardness of your brush(es). If you are unable to resolve this, our customer service will of course be happy to help you!

    With BOOMBRUSH Repeat you have a lifetime warranty on your BOOMBRUSH! If your brush does anything less than perfect at any time, we'll get you a new one! If you don't have a Repeat plan, we still provide a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.

Onderhoud

  • Hoe verwissel ik mijn borstelkopje?

    Tijd om je borstelkopje te verwisselen? Let op dat je je oude borstelkopje loshaalt met een rechte beweging in plaats van een draaiende beweging. Wanneer je het borstelkopje eraf haalt met een draaiende beweging is de kans groot dat het pinnetje verdraaid wordt. Dat kan ervoor zorgen dat het pinnetje niet meer op de goede plaats zit waardoor de trillingen van de borstel afnemen. Let er ook op dat tijdens het plaatsen van het nieuwe borstelkopje je het kopje recht uitlijnt met de knop en de symbolen aan de voorkant. Doe je dit niet werken de trillingen niet meer zoals het hoort.

  • Hoe houd ik mijn borstel schoon?

    Naast het schoonhouden van het contactoppervlak met het borstelkopje is het belangrijk om de knop na gebruik goed te drogen en resten te verwijderen. Vergeet ook niet om de borstel te bewaren op een goed geventileerde en niet te vochtige plek zodat de borstel goed kan drogen en zodat er geen kalk bij de borstel blijft hangen. Wanneer kalk zich ophoopt rondom de knop, verliest deze zijn functie. Wat er vervolgens kan gebeuren, is dat je de borstel met de aan/uit knop niet meer goed kunt bedienen. Zorg dus dat je de knop goed schoon houdt.

  • Hoe vaak moet ik mijn borstel schoonmaken?

    Wil jij ervoor zorgen dat jouw Boombrush optimaal blijft trillen? Probeer dan eenmaal per twee weken het tussenstuk tussen de houder en het borstelkopje schoon te maken. Door dit goed te onderhouden voorkom je dat zich tandpasta resten en kalk ophopen en het borstelkopje niet meer goed aansluit op de pin die de trillingen doorzet naar het kopje. Doe dit door het kopje op de juiste wijze los te halen van de body, vervolgens kun je met water al het vuil goed weghalen. Droog tenslotte alles goed af en zet het kopje weer terug op de body.

  • Hoe vaak moet ik de borstel opladen?

    De Boombrush heeft een duurzame batterij van maar liefst 90 dagen. Wanneer de batterij bijna leeg is zal het lampje onderaan de borstel rood gaan branden. Meestal kun je hem dan nog een paar dagen gebruiken. Het moment dat de borstel het signaal afgeeft dat hij bijna leeg is, dient dit als teken dat je de borstel op moet laden. Dit is misschien anders dan je gewend was bij je vorige elektrische of sonische borstel. Deze zette je wellicht iedere dag terug op het oplaadstation. Door de accu enkel op te laden wanneer hij (bijna) volledig leeg is behoudt deze zijn kwaliteit. Door hem vaker op te laden dan nodig kunnen er sneller defecten ontstaan.

  • Moet ik duwen tijdens het poetsen?

    Heb je het idee dat je tanden schoner worden wanneer je veel kracht achter de borstel zet? Dat is niet zo! De 40.000 vibraties van de Boombrush zorgen voor voldoende kracht om jouw tanden schoon te houden. Mits je natuurlijk je borstelkopje op tijd vervangt. Wanneer je te lang door poetst met hetzelfde borstelkopje en/of te hard duwt tijdens het poetsen gaat de kwaliteit van het kopje sneller achteruit. Vertrouw dus op de kracht van het poetsen en laat de Boombrush het werk doen!

  • Waar bewaar ik mijn boombrush?

    Het klinkt logisch, maar het laten vallen gebeurt sneller dan je denkt. Zet je Boombrush stevig neer om valgevaar te voorkomen. Doordat je de Boombrush maar 4 keer per jaar hoeft op te laden, hebben wij een oplaadstation weggelaten. Zorg er dus voor dat je de borstel op een stevige ondergrond neerzet. Heeft jouw wastafel deze ruimte niet? Denk dan bijvoorbeeld eens aan een stijlvolle badkamer organizer. Zorg er wel voor dat de Boombrush in een goed geventileerde ruimte bewaard.

  • What fits in the travel case?

    The travel case is suitable for your Boombrush and 1 brush head, but if you travel you can put a total of 2 brush heads and the charging cable. This way you are always well prepared!

  • What material is the travel case made of?

    The travel case is made of artificial leather and therefore lasts a long time and is waterproof so that the case protects your Boombrush well.

  • Is the travel case water resistant?

    Yes, the material of the travel case has been treated and is therefore water-repellent.

  • Is the travel case stain-resistant?

    Because the travel case is water-resistant, you can easily wipe it off with a cloth and keep it clean so that your Boombrush always ends up in a fresh travel case :)

  • Is the travel case also available in other colors?

    At the moment it is only available in green, but if the case is popular we can certainly introduce more colors. Do you have a suggestion? Let us know via customer service :)

  • How do you close the travel case?

    The travel case has a magnetic closure so you can close it by lowering the flap. The magnet is strong enough to hold the valve in place.

  • What is the difference between the soft and regular brushes?

    The biggest difference is of course the hardness of the brushes. The bristles of the soft brushes are slightly softer and therefore more suitable if you have sensitive teeth.

  • What if I want multiple brush cups at a time with a Repeat?

    Of course you can! You can simply add an extra brush head/paste to your Repeat. You can do this in your Boombrush account. Here you can also adjust the frequency of your Repeat.

    You can view our return conditions for detailed information about this. If you are sure of your choice, please contact our customer service. There we can help you to register your return. Because we cannot reuse the brush head, we will not refund the purchase amount of €6.

  • How long can I try out the Boombrush?

    You can try it for free for 60 days! If it is not what you expected, you can contact our customer service. They will then help you with your return.

  • How can I track my order?

    If you buy a brush, you will receive a confirmation email from us, which also contains a link to a Track & Trace code. With this code you can easily follow it.

    Other orders are sent by post. You can track this via the PostNL app. Then you know when it's almost there.
