Trees for All

Together with CleanHub, we are working to clean up plastic waste. By supporting them, we prevent plastic from ending up in the ocean. This way, we contribute to the mission of keeping nature plastic-free.

By supporting Trees for All, we contribute to planting trees in the Netherlands and abroad. For a better climate, more biodiversity, and healthy living conditions.

Together, we have already planted over 1000 trees!

Smart packaging

Responsible choices start with the basics. Our shipping boxes are completely plastic-free and are produced in the Netherlands to limit the impact of transport. All our corrugated cardboard is FSC-certified, the paper is unbleached, uncoated and 100% recycled.

The product-specific packaging does contain plastic for hygiene reasons.

Innovation for good

Nobody’s perfect! Neither are we, but we want to make the most positive contribution possible. We do this by improving and developing our products. Sometimes this also means saying goodbye to a product or developing new product lines.

In the future, we want to reduce waste per active user by 30% compared to other brands in the category. Through our Product Creation Studio, we develop new products every quarter, with closing the waste stream as a concrete objective.

At BOOM. we want to grow in a way that takes into account our impact on the planet. That's why we have drawn up a Climate Action Plan. In it, we describe how we want to better understand, reduce, and incorporate our climate impact into our daily choices.

Our focus is on the areas where we have the most influence: packaging, materials, fulfillment, logistics, sourcing, and product development. In 2026, we will primarily be building reliable baselines for packaging materials and supplier impact, so that future improvement goals are based on real data rather than assumptions.

We look at material usage per order, lower-impact alternatives for packaging, more efficient shipping, and greater transparency in our chain. This way, we are working step by step on practical climate improvements that align with our B Corp ambitions.

Influencing policy must always be done fairly, transparently, and responsibly. When BOOM. participates in discussions about legislation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, or social issues, we do so in a way that aligns with our mission, values, and responsibility as a B Corp.

We are clear about who we are, what interests we represent, and why we participate. We do not support positions that go against our principles regarding human rights, climate action, inclusivity, fair cooperation, or transparent communication.

Respect for people is the foundation of responsible business. This applies to our colleagues, customers, partners, suppliers, and the people involved in the production, packaging, and delivery of our products.

B Corp
What does B-corp certified mean?
B-Corp is an independent certification that assesses companies on their social and environmental performance: from working conditions to impact on the environment. Only companies that achieve a minimum score in all areas receive the certification. BOOM. was certified in 2024 and will be recertified in 2026.
Why did Boombrush obtain B Corp certification?
Boombrush obtained B Corp certification to confirm our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. It aligns with our mission to make oral hygiene more fun and sustainable. What is B Corp?
B Corp certification is a recognition for companies that aim to have a positive impact on people and the environment alongside profit. It is awarded by B Lab, a non-profit organization. B Corp-certified companies voluntarily meet high standards in social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. They are assessed on five pillars: governance, workers, customers, environment, and community.
What did Boombrush have to do to obtain the certification?
Boombrush had to complete a comprehensive B Impact Assessment, in which we were evaluated on five areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. We needed to achieve a minimum score of 80 points and meet strict transparency and accountability requirements. And we did it! With a score of 89.5 🏆
What are Boombrush’s plans for the future as a B Corp?
We will continue to focus on innovation in sustainable oral care, such as improving our recycling program for used brush heads and exploring cradle-to-cradle production methods.

BOOM. aims to transform oral care by using beauty as a benchmark. We want to shift toothbrushing from a daily chore to a ritual people look forward to repeating. For us, oral health isn't just about products; it's primarily about behavior. That's why we use design, brand experience, and smart subscription models to help people stick to their routine more effectively. At the same time, we are growing consciously, with attention to product development, packaging, suppliers, and our impact on people and the planet. In this way, we are building an oral beauty brand that aligns with the new B Corp standards and contributes to long-term oral health and well-being.
What does BOOM. mean by impact?
At BOOM., impact is about the choices we make behind the scenes and the change we want to drive in the bathroom. We want to make oral care more fun, beautiful, and conscious, as a daily moment where you feel fresh, confident, and positive. At the same time, we critically examine how we design, source, package, ship, and collaborate. Our impact lies in positive routines for customers, responsible products and packaging, and fair cooperation with partners and suppliers. This is how we are building, step by step, a brand that is fresh, positive, and future-oriented.
Complaints procedure
What is the difference between a complaint and a report?
A complaint usually concerns an order, delivery, product, return, refund, subscription or service experience. A report concerns a broader concern about our business conduct, for example regarding environmental impact, working conditions, human rights, privacy, integrity, safety, misleading communication, governance or ethical behaviour.
How do I file a complaint?
Send a message to service@boombrush.com. Our Customer Service team will be happy to help you.
How do I submit a report?
Send a message to service@boombrush.com with “REPORT” in the subject line. Describe as clearly as possible what your report is about and include any relevant information.
Who can make a report?
Anyone who wishes to share a concern about BOOM. or our impact can submit a report. This can be done, for example, as a customer, supplier, employee, partner, or other stakeholder.
What happens to my complaint or report?
We carefully review every message. Regular customer complaints are handled by our customer service team. Reports concerning broader or sensitive topics are forwarded internally to the responsible person within Operations and, if necessary, to management.
Within what timeframe do you respond?
We aim to confirm complaints within 1 working day and, where possible, resolve or update them within 5 working days. For reports, we normally confirm receipt within 2 working days. We then carefully assess the report and, where possible, provide a substantive response or update within 25 working days. If further investigation is needed, we will keep you informed in the meantime.
Will my report be treated confidentially?
Yes. We handle complaints and reports carefully and confidentially. Information is only shared with individuals who are necessary to properly assess or follow up on the report. We also have a zero-tolerance policy for retaliation. This means that no one may be disadvantaged because they have made a complaint or report in good faith.
General questions
How often should I replace a toothbrush head?
Every eight weeks, or as soon as the bristles fray. Worn-out brushes clean less effectively and can irritate the gums. With Repeat, you automatically receive a new one every eight weeks.
How much does a good electric toothbrush cost?
A good electric toothbrush costs between €30 and €300. At BOOM., a sonic electric toothbrush starts at €69 (the Start) and goes up to €129 (the Wave). A lifetime warranty on the handle is included — you buy once, not every 2-3 years.
Where can I change my email address?
You can easily change your details in the Self Service Centre in your account. You can reach it via this link. If you can't figure it out, you can always sent our customer service team a message.
Why should I choose Boombrush?
Your oral health is important to you and therefore also to us. Personal issues such as the hygiene of your mouth require a personal approach. With Boombrush you have both good service and a strong product. Boombrush has been developed by a team of experts to ensure that we deliver nothing less than perfect quality.
What is the difference between sonic and electric brushing?
The brush is a sonic toothbrush. Sonic toothbrushes vibrate between 30,000 and 40,000 times per minute! This allows a sonic toothbrush to brush in places where a normal or regular electric toothbrush cannot. The high vibrations ensure that toothpaste, saliva and water can get between the teeth and under the gums.
