I've run through a few (expensive) Philips electric toothbrushes, and while they were ok at the beginning, the would all invariably start having problems after a few months of usage: from needing to recharge more often to eventually stopping working. So when I've seen a picture with a Boom toothbrush in a friend's instagram, I took a screenshot to research it later. To my surprise, it was an independent business, that I never heard of before, but I thought to give it a try. I am so happy I did! The design is just beautiful, but most importantly the toothbrush is as good as new after 1.5 years of usage! Battery still lasts a long long time (I can take it with me with no "rage anxiety" when I travel for long periods) and overall functionality is perfect. I must add I also use the refill service - it's probably the only subscription I have. It's very convenient in terms of flexibility and timing and I love that they really strive for a minimal environmental impact. I have now also added the toothpaste to the subscription, so I'm excited to get that as well. I only have very minor improvement suggestions, but given they have addressed all my past concerns very swiftly and in the best possible way, to me, it does not take away from the 5 stars review. 1. Sometimes refill orders get a bit messed up (but corrected super swiftly) 2. A lot of the communication is in Dutch! I wish there would be an option to get the emails or the website (beyond the login page) in English
